Hello!

I’m Orsi and this is my blog where I write about my personal & musical adventures. During most days of the week I spend my time working as the Senior Manager for  Fat City Record Shop, one of the worlds best specialist online music retailers when it comes to Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, Soul and other good stuff.

My previous work has included being a Digital Producer at a digital creative agency called Anywhichway! and an Account Executive at another agency called Airlock where I was mainly managing a Channel 4 project called Battlefront. I also used to work for Brownswood Recordings as a Label Administrator where I had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Gilles Peterson.

When I’m not working I’m probably knee deep in books, journals, reports and other wonderful academic things since I am currently doing an MA in Music Industries at Birmingham City University. (Don’t worry, it’s a distance course so I’m still in the big smoke!)

I host my own radio show called “Little Miss Sunshine” over at Laid Back Radio, something that I recommend you to check out if you’re into ‘good music’!

And when/if I have time over, I also record mixes and put them up on my Mixcloud profile, as well as DJ out & about at various events across London, UK & Europe.
