Hello my friends!

This is a rather unusual post, mainly because it features something very rare – a VIDEO featuring yours truly.

I was invited by the lovely guys from HBS Music Archaeology to be the first ever female guest in their shed somewhere in the very depths of West/North West London, and I obviously couldn’t turn it down!

I still haven’t watched it (because Im scared and silly, ok!?) but considering how incredibly nervous I was, I can vouch for the fact that Brad & Chris are one of the nicest and funniest people I have met (in a shed). I didn’t know them from before, we just had some common friends, so I went out to meet them with some records I picked and I just hoped we would get along and that I wouldn’t disappoint them with my selections.

Im sure you can tell that we had a fantastic time and I was so pleased that they liked the records I brought with me.

I know I laugh a lot in the video (blame the nerves, the crazy detox I was on at the time, and the fact that the shed is so small so it looks hilarious to have Brad & Chris squashed in on the other side, looking at you with big eyes and asking you questions).

The laughing and the nerves aside, it was fun to play records and to kind of “tell my story” – since most of the time Im so busy promoting other people, I never get the chance to talk about myself.

I bet you my parents will watch this and be like, “hold on – is that really how it went down?!?”, and my answer is that: Yes, more or less, maybe I got some of your records wrong dad but it was a long time ago haha.

All I really hope is that my passion and love for music and records comes through. I don’t have the biggest collection or the most expensive one, but I would like to think that I have a good ear for music, and all I really want is to share that music with people.

So if you have some time, please watch the video, share it with your friends and family, and let us know what you think.
