Afternoon peeps!
It has been a crazy couple of days. The weekday madness from Wednesday night really hurt my soul on Thursday.Was so nice to see Cata and have a quick catch up. Life was dead, but the tunes were good and the company was amazing and I had a great time. Got home around 4am, had 3 hours sleep, and yes, safe to say the daylight was making me feel horrible until about 2-3pm.
Had a quiet night on Thursday, with the tube strike going strong, I went and had a coffee with Rob. We went for a little walk in the sunshine, and I came home and finished off the new podcast (YES IT WILL COME AS SOON AS I HAVE TIME TO UPLOAD IT).
Friday I hooked up with the boys from Airlock. Went for some after work drinks, convinced them to come down with me to Cable. After becoming a bit tipsy, I hurried home to drop my stuff off and quickly get changed. Went down to meet them by London Bridge, had some more drinks. Went to Cable, got lost in the madness, met a boy, lost the boy, danced a little, was given a mission, failed before I even started, decided to leave, ended up taking a cab with Ravi to his place, had some deep heartfelt conversation on his couch about love and life, felt very happy and blessed to have such good friends in my life, fell asleep, woke up around 10am because my eyes were crying, had some water, and went back to bed.
Saturday was meant to be big cleaning day, but me and Ravi got up around 1pm. Listened to some tunes until about 2.30pm, went to the Breakfast Club in Angel to get some breakie. Was meant to go home and clean, but gave up on the idea because the weather was so nice. We strolled around Angel for a little while, got a frame for a print he had bought the week before. Went on a little second hand mission to find him a coffee table, didnt find anything we liked, got thirsty, and went to have a drink in the sunshine. Then we parted, I came home and had a quick shower to then go and have din dins at Sophies new place.
Met up with Sophie and Jason, had 3½ bottles of wine, giggled and ate some great food Soph had cooked. I was personally sitting there and once again thinking how lucky I am to have so many amazing people in my life, and what a fucking fool I am for not making more of an effort to meet up with them more regularly. We decided that Jason is hosting the next get together, and also that we will arrange to go and see some burlesque just before my birthday. All in all, a great night and a perfect ending to a 2 day madness extravaganza.
Today I woke up and started cleaning way too early for a weekend, decided to have a coffee break and give you guys an update. Listening to Mixed up in love by Bullion, smiling, excited about seeing Gavin and heading down to Brick Lane to see Thristian and chilling to some nice music.
So yes, it has been a long, a bit messy, but very good weekend. I am so happy! Now, I need to get back to this cleaning business, but I hope youve had a nice weekend too! Much love to you all!
