It is with great sadness that I have learnt that my friend Black Classical will be leaving Space Invader Radio in the new year, the 12th of February to be exact. However, he sure is planning on going out with a big BANG!
Above is a little teaser mix to his epic last show that will be 12 hours long (but potentially longer if I know him well!) and it will only include fantastic Spiritual Jazz!!
So make a nice cup of coffee or tea, stick the mix on and be prepared to not only be educated, but also be taken on a very magical and special musical ride!

Sorry if you feel neglected! I have been so incredibly busy the past week that there simply hasn’t been enough time to blog. Started uni last week which was very exciting and if you are interested in the things we do and say, you can check out the MA Music Industries blog.
I had a great time doing a live show at the Mixcloud party, as soon as the show is up on their site I’ll let you know.
Went to the land of no mobile and internet reception this past weekend. Heads up if you’re ever heading to Aldeburgh, you’re in for a nasty surprise if you’re not prepared. Besides from those technical issues I had a fantastic time by the coast in the sunshine.
This week it’s back to mental, so if you’re about tomorrow night, come and say hello at Wax Jambu as I will be djing there alongside Alex Chase from about 8pm. If you can’t make that then you can catch me at Howl At The Moon in Hoxton on Friday. You can find all events under the Gigs tab!

It has been a life-changing week, and whilst I don’t want to reveal why quite yet, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who have helped shaping and changing my life for the better these past 6 years.
The list is long, and I know that sometimes maybe people on that list might think that I don’t remember or am aware of the fact that I have so much to thank them for. But let me reassure you that I am grateful and thankful every single day, hour, minute and second.
I will save my thanks in words for you for another day, but in the mean time, here is a little selection of songs I put together just for you. Sometimes it’s just easier to say things with music.

So yesterday I turned 25 years old and that was celebrated in mainly 2 ways.
First up – I was asked by Fat City to dig through their crates and make a mix for their contribution to Mixcloud’s Celebration of Curation campaign that runs through-out August. Feel free to tune in and spread the word if you’re feeling it!
Secondly – Because I didn’t get any cake at work, the crew decided to let me do my own Specialist Chart for Fat City this week. One record for each year I have been alive, some stuff you can hear on the mix above and some you can’t. So feel free to check that out as well :)
