Haven’t been feeling my best today… This stupid flu refuses to let go, too many things on my mind, and just feel generally sad & down. Not a good look, especially when the sun has finally decided to make a bit of a more regular appearance in our otherwise rather grey and dull sky. Hopefully it will all pass soon, I hate feeling like this.

Here it is my friends! The debut of my new show on Space Invader Radio called “The Jukebox”. As you know if you read the previous post, this show is dedicated to my very good friend Cata. Make sure you tune in every other Tuesday night from 6-7pm GMT as I will be dishing up some great but maybe “unexpected” music (for being me) :) Enjoy x
Morning my lovelies! IM SO TIRED TODAY! But… I guess it was worth not getting so much sleep. After some technical difficulties (I think me x SIR is cursed, never had an occasion when something went right!) I managed to finish my debut show of “The Jukebox” for Space Invader Radio. It’s an hour show that will air bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings between 6-7pm GMT. This first show is a tribute and a dedication to one of my BFF’s (yes such thing still exists, even when youre almost 25!) Catariya!
The point or thought behind these shows are to just play whatever I want, regardless of genre and whether or not its “popular” music or not. Basically – I felt like I needed a show where I could just play what I felt like playing as for me personally – that helps me get inspired when it comes to genres I normally play. Plus, its nice to take a break from what you usually play from time to time in order to keep your mind and ideas fresh.
Make sure you tune in and PLEASE – don’t get put off by the songs I play tonight. I will be playing all kinds of music, but tonight is a “sending off” show to Cata who is moving to Amsterdam and I wanted to make a show/mix with songs that either reminded me of her and us, or songs that would get her excited about going there. So if some of them are a bit “girly” I apologise, but it wouldn’t have been the same if I wouldve excluded those songs.

Sitting in the radio ninja studio with creators block. I say “studio” – in reality its my bedroom floor. And yes, I say creators block – but in fact I had too much soup for dindins and all my inner powers (including brain power) went to my belly. OKOK! And also because I got sucked into the evil world of Glee as I was eating my dindins and I simply couldnt stop watching… And now that its been over an hour since I finished watching Glee, I am NOT selecting songs for the show. Instead I am making silly GIFS with some silly pictures and reading blogs. Oh well, Im not good at being a radio ninja without inspiration, and Im sure people would rather wait than listening to a Glee inspired show ;)
PS. Just realised it looks like somebody is hiding in my bed behind me. Let me assure you that that is not the case! :P
