Hello boys and girls! The day has finally come! I am jetting off to Sweden to see my mum in a couple of hours and I am so excited I feel a bit sick! Haven’t really had a holiday this year (yes I went to Budapest for 5 days in April, but that was more exhausting than relaxing) so I can’t wait to go home, see my mum and my family, see the flat that my mum moved into about 6 months ago (even though it will be weird not going home to the house…) and just see family friends and my best friend Anna. I’m always a bit nervous going home… Not only because I hate flying but also because I never really know what to expect. However, it has been the longest time I have been away from my mum, and even though she gets on my nerves from time to time, I can’t wait to finally arrive, give her the biggest hug in the world, go home and cook her some food, and spend the evening drinking wine, chatting and listening to music. I will be checking in from time to time, hopefully with some picture updates so you can see what Im up to (if you’re interested of course!) and the aim is to return next sunday, well rested and happy. Have an amazing bank holiday and make sure to have a boogie and a drink on my behalf if any of you are going to the madness that is Notting Hill Carnival.

Big up the mixcloud crew for throwing a great party yesterday and for inviting me and some fellow space invaders to play some tunes. I had a lot of fun and met some lovely people. I really need to get my act together and start mixing more so I can play out more often. Despite the nerves and never having used serato (thanks Matt for the very quick and helpful 101), it was a great experience. Thank god not that many people were there whilst I played my tunes, it would have shattered the illusion of me actually knowing what the hell I am doing haha. Now back to practising this mixing bizniz, and hopefully get somewhere sooner rather than later.
